Triple Screw Extruder
This extruder has three screws in one line. The screw in the middle has a bigger diameter and is intermeshed with two side screws in reverse rotation. It can be regarded as two pairs of screws working in the extruder, which increases the shearing area and provides a better dispersion of additives and better degassing of volatiles.
