Switch colors and materials for a twin screw extruder

We have some suggestions on the color master batch extrusion.

  1. The production volume determines the size of main extruder;
  2. Write down the procedures for cleaning or disassembling the extruder for each product. This will help operators plan their time and eliminate their arguments about how much scrap material will be produced;
  3. Help the operator to place the tools beside the extruder. If the material is changed frequently, build a work platform nearby and prepare everything needed;
  4. Study the sequence from raw materials coming in to finished products going out. Help save the operator’s time moving vehicles;
  5. Make clear on cleanness requirements of the next product;
  6. If possible, schedule production in the order of minimizing the number of cleaning. This means going from light to dark. Otherwise you’ll have to perform multiple disassembly.
