Film Agglomerator

Our agglomerator is mainly used in film recycling. It can make light films into irregular granules and increase the density of film for easy feeding.

When the plastic waste enters into the agglomerator, it is sheared by the rotary blade spinning rapidly with the stationery blade. The waste is cut into smaller pieces and flows along with the inner wall of drum by the centrifugal force. With the gravity it moves towards the center. Much heat is generated from friction between materials and between the blades and drum walls. The recycled gets heated up and gets into semi-melt status and sticks to each other. Now cold water is sprayed onto these small blocks and these blocks will be cut into small granules by the blades.

It’s optional to color the feed stock when agglomerating.
